Use of necessary cookies
In order to make your visit to our website comfortable and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called necessary cookies. Necessary cookies are small text files that are used as identifiers, i.e. they are used to recognize visitors during and after their visit to the website and to store information about them (such as language settings on a website, login status or a shopping cart). We transfer these cookies to your computer's hard drive via your web browser, where we store them during your current visit and for up to 30 days beyond, so that we can read them. Data transfers to a country outside the European Economic Area.
If you have consented accordingly, your personal data may be transferred to servers of a third-party provider (e.g. Google) whose server is located in the USA or another third country (i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA)). We would like to point out that there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA comparable to that in the EU. Therefore, there is a risk for you of governmental access to this data. This risk may also exist with regard to other third countries. The permissibility of these data transfers to the USA and other affected third countries follows from Art. 49 para. (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR.

We delete your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. The legal basis for the storage of your personal data under tax or commercial law is Art. 6 para. (1) sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR in conjunction with §§ 147 AO, 257 HGB.
Hosting of this website
In order to provide you with this website, we use the services of web hosting providers who provide the following services for us: Infrastructure and platform services, provision of computer capacity and storage space, and technical maintenance services. The data processed in the course of their service provision includes your IP address and, if applicable, other communication data, as well as usage and contact data provided by you via our website.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the functionality and publication of our website.
Contact option via the website
Based on statutory provisions, the website contains data that enable a quick electronic contact to our enterprise, as well as direct communication with us, which also includes a general address of the so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). If a data subject contacts the controller by e-mail or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject will be stored automatically. When using the online inquiry forms, we collect personal data (your name, e-mail address and telephone number) only to the extent provided by you. We only use your e-mail address to process your inquiry. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a data subject to the controller will be stored for the purposes of processing or contacting the data subject. There is no disclosure of this personal data to third parties.
We base the processing on our legitimate interest in being able to contact and communicate with you (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR). If you are interested in our offers, we base the processing on the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR).
We process the data you provide in the course of contacting and communicating with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies (e.g., after processing of your inquiry has been completed) and no compelling legal provisions (e.g., retention obligations or rights) prevent deletion.
Data protection for applications
On the website, you have the option of submitting an unsolicited application for a position with us, including by e-mail. The following categories of data are processed as part of the application process: Name, address, other contact data, date and place of birth, data on professional qualifications (e.g. curriculum vitae, references, certificates, details of training and work experience, etc.) and the results of the personnel selection process.
We process your personal data for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure, insofar as this is necessary.
The data processing is carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit b) GDPR. We generally store your personal data for the duration of the application process and for a further 6 months beyond that. If your application leads to employment with us, the application data will subsequently continue to be stored and processed for the purpose of establishing, implementing and terminating the employment relationship. In this case, you will be informed separately about this change of purpose.
After the termination of the application process, we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in defending ourselves against possible legal claims. The legal basis for data processing in this respect is Art. 6 para. (1) p. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
Our security standards
Your personal data is transferred over the Internet on our website using the so-called SSL security system (Secure Socket Layer). This technology offers a high level of security and is therefore also used, for example, by banks for data protection in online banking. We secure our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

In accordance with Art. 21 para. (1) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. (1) p. 1 lit. f) GDPR). If you object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
If you wish to exercise your right to object, an e-mail to: info@volzfilters.com will suffice.
