Use of cookies with functional purposes
In order to make your visit to our website more convenient and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called necessary cookies. Necessary cookies are small text files that are used as identifiers, i.e. to recognise visitors during and after their visit to the website and to store information about them (such as the language settings on a website, the login status or a shopping basket). We transfer these cookies to your computer's hard drive via your web browser, where we store them during your current visit and for a period of up to 30 days thereafter in order to be able to read them. Please note that certain cookies are already set as soon as you access our website. You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your computer by making the appropriate settings in your browser. However, this may limit the functionality of our website for you.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data using technically necessary cookies within the meaning of Section 25 (2) TDDDG is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to present you with a functional and user-friendly website with the help of the necessary cookies.

When you enter our website, the following personal data is transferred to Usercentrics:
- Your consent(s) or the withdrawal of your consent(s)
- Your IP address

- Information about your end device
- Time of your visit to our website
Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents you have given or revoke them.
The processing of the aforementioned data and the storage of the technically necessary cookie are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. (1) lit. c GDPR in conjunction with § 25 para. (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as this is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations (obtaining and documenting consent).
The data collected is transmitted to Usercentrics GmbH, which acts as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. We have concluded an order processing contract with Usercentrics to ensure the secure handling of your data. Your data will not be passed on to other third parties unless this is required by law. Data processing takes place exclusively within the EU/EEA.
The consent data is stored for one year in order to fulfil the obligation to provide evidence in accordance with the GDPR and then deleted or anonymised immediately, provided there are no legal obligations to retain it. The Usercentrics cookie remains active for a period of one year unless you delete it from your browser before then.
Visable
Volz Luftfilter GmbH & Co. KG uses products and services from Visable GmbH, ABC-Straße 21, 20354 Hamburg, Germany ("Visable") for analysis and marketing purposes. Visable helps us to analyse the reach and performance of our website and to optimise our marketing measures.
Visable uses tracking pixels (similar to cookies) to create pseudonymised user profiles. The data collected includes technical information such as your IP address (in abbreviated form), device information (e.g. browser, operating system, screen resolution), the referrer URL, your approximate location (region) and your usage behaviour (e.g. page views, click paths, time spent on the site). As far as possible, this data is processed anonymously so that visitors to our website are not personally identified. Personal data is not merged with the user profiles. If IP addresses are considered personally identifiable, they are immediately deleted or anonymised.
The data collected is used to analyse website usage, optimise our content and target our marketing measures in order to ensure a better user experience.
The data collected is transmitted to Visable or collected directly by Visable and used there to create pseudonymised user profiles. We have concluded an order processing contract with Visable in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to ensure the secure handling of your data. The data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary to provide the service (e.g. to Visable's sub-processors). Data processing takes place within the EU/EEA; data is not transferred to third countries.
The data is processed on the basis of your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. (1) TDDDG. No personal data will be collected via visible counting pixels without your consent.
The data linked to tracking pixels is stored for a maximum of 12 months, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage. The deletion takes place automatically after the storage period has expired or as soon as you revoke your consent.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings on our website and changing your selection. Alternatively, you can prevent the storage of tracking pixels by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. Please note that this may restrict the functionality of this and other websites. In addition, you can object to the collection of data by Visable by excluding the collection of visitor data: Exclude visitor collection (note: opting out sets an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection of your data). The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected. Exclude visitor registration
Bing Webmaster Tools
This website uses Bing Webmaster Tools, a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA for search engine optimisation. Microsoft uses cookies and web beacons to analyse the use of the website and to improve the quality of search results and security. You can deactivate such cookies at any time via your browser settings. Further information on data processing by Microsoft can be found in the Data protection information from Microsoft.

If you have given your consent, Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, is used on this website. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of our website to be analysed. The information collected by cookies, such as IP address (in abbreviated form), technical information about your browser and end device (e.g. language setting, screen resolution), your approximate location (region), the referrer URL and your user behaviour in the form of "events" (e.g. page views, click paths, scrolling behaviour, internal search queries, interaction with videos or downloads) are recorded. IP anonymisation is activated by default in Google Analytics so that your IP address is truncated within the EU/EEA before it is processed further. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the data transmitted as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. It is not assigned to a user ID.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This information is used to analyse your pseudonymous use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. These reports are used to analyse the performance of our website and to optimise our online offering.
The data is processed on the basis of your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TTDDG. No personal data will be collected via Google Analytics without your consent.
The recipients of the data are Google Ireland Limited and, in the context of data transmission, Google LLC. The data may be transferred to the USA, where Google LLC is based. Google has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which guarantees an adequate level of data protection in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR. In addition, standard contractual clauses are used to ensure data protection for transfers to other third countries outside the EU/EEA. It cannot be ruled out that US authorities may access the data stored by Google. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Other data, such as event data that is not directly linked to cookies, is stored for a maximum of 14 months, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage. Once the storage period has expired, the data is automatically deleted or anonymised.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings on our website and changing your selection. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected. Alternatively, you can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. Please note that this may restrict the functionality of this and other websites.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA v3
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 from Google LLC on our website. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
The purpose of the processing is to distinguish whether entries in our contact form originate from human users or automated systems (bots) and thus to protect our website from automated attacks and misuse. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA v3 analyses the behaviour of website visitors in the background based on various characteristics and assesses whether they are human users or bots.
When using reCAPTCHA v3, Google processes your IP address, referrer URL, mouse movements and click patterns, keystrokes, browser and device information (operating system, browser type, location, language settings, plugins), time zone, screen and window resolution and the time spent on the website. In addition, reCAPTCHA v3 checks whether a tool for recognising the user (cookie or device fingerprinting) has already been set. If this is not the case, Google sets such a cookie.
The legal basis for processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG, which you can give via our consent management tool. Without your consent, reCAPTCHA v3 will not be activated.
The recipients of the data are Google Ireland Ltd. and, in the context of data transmission, Google LLC. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Google to ensure the protection of your data.
Google does not specify an exact storage period. This data is stored for as long as it is required for the purpose of the security analysis, sometimes only for the duration of the session, sometimes for a longer period. We cannot rule out the possibility that certain data will be stored permanently in anonymised form in order to optimise the functionality of reCAPTCHA. You can find more detailed information in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Google reCAPTCHA is not transparent with regard to the type, scope and purposes of data processing and the further use of the data by Google itself, so that it is not possible to understand how Google itself uses the information collected.
SYou can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings on our website and changing your selection. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected. Alternatively, you can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. Please note that this may restrict the functionality of this and other websites.
